The fourth round of the Matosinhos Surf School Cup, held last Sunday, April 3rd, was the first surfing competition ever held at Praia da Agudela. The Matosinhos Inter-School Surfing Championship is an event promoted by the Municipality of Matosinhos and organized by the Portuguese Surf School Association.
The Matosinhos Surf School Cup, a championship held in teams and in a tag-team format, with each Surf School represented by a team of 5 elements: 1 Coach and 4 Students, returned on April 3rd for the fourth and penultimate stage. Praia da Agudela, which received a surfing championship for the first time, was received the following Surf Schools of the Municipality: Fish Surf School, Onda Pura, Penas Surf School, Salty Wave, Surfing Life Club, Surfitbox and Linha de Onda.

1º: Surfing Life Club I 13.90 pts
2º: Linha de Onda I 10.27 pts
3º: Salty Wave Surf School I 10.07 pts
During the day, there were also other parallel actions, promoted by the sponsors of the event, such as a beach cleaning promoted by Sociedade Comercial C. Santos and the Municipality of Matosinhos, and a Fun Contest Deeply, consisting of 2 heats with softboards Deeply, where the most fun and creative wave was awarded a Surfskate.

The fight for the title is close, and the fifth and final event of this championship will decide the champion Surf School of the Municipality of Matosinhos, on the 15th of April, at Praia Pedras do Corgo. The Inter-School Surfing Championship is promoted by the Municipality of Matosinhos, organized by the Portuguese Surf School Association, with the sponsorship of APDL, Deeply, Sociedade Comercial C. Santos and Matosinhos Sport.
